原中央顾问委员会常委会委员、中国军事科学院的老院长宋时轮,1985年底离开领导岗位,退居二线。离休时他细致周到地做好交班的工作,离休后又殚精竭虑地领导编纂《中国军事百科全书》的任务,直到生命的最后岁月仍念念不忘祖国的统一和安全,并为此做了力所能及的工作,用实际行动树立了一个共产党员、老干部自觉从党的利益出发正确对待个人进退去留的光辉榜样。
Song Shihuan, former member of the Standing Committee of the Central Advisory Commission and the old dean of the Chinese Academy of Military Sciences, left the leadership position at the end of 1985 and relegated to the second line. At the time of his retirement, he meticulously and meticulously did a good job of handing over the work.
