In recent days, many foreign car companies in China due to alleged monopoly will face billions of fines related news after another, which has aroused widespread concern in the community. Take the Audi with a higher exposure rate as an example. In early August, 11 Audi dealers in Hubei Province came to Beijing collectively to discuss with the NDRC on behalf of FAW-Volkswagen Audi. Both companies were characterized as monopolistic and will be punished in the near future. According to informed sources, as the first domestic car antitrust case ticket, FAW - Volkswagen Audi and Audi dealers in Hubei suspected of antitrust penalty amount has been initially identified. Among them, the manufacturer FAW - Volkswagen Audi fines will reach 1.8 billion yuan, 11 fine dealers in Hubei from 600 million to more than 50 million yuan fine. Fines for FAW-Volkswagen Audi are penalized at 1% of vehicle sales for the full year of 2013. In 2013, FAW-VW Audi sells 488,488 vehicles a year. If the average price of a bicycle is 400,000 yuan, the total sales amount is 195.4 billion yuan. The sales volume of 1% basically matches the fine of 1.8 billion yuan. Therefore, the overall authenticity of the incident is very high.
