我国现处在市场经济的初级阶段,无疑需要一批勇于探索、锐意改革创新的高科技人才,但更需要千千万万既掌握操作技能又有一定技术理论的新型员工。对于初中毕业未能升入高中学习的学生,接受中等职业技术教育是适应社会需要的一项新的举措,因为这类学生不具备用人单位所要求的职业技能,不能适应就业和创业的需要,招收他们入学接受中等职业教育,使其学到至少一门实用技能,不仅有利帮助他们就业和创业,而且对促进城乡的发展与稳定、构建和谐社会都具有重要意义。
China is now in the primary stage of market economy. It undoubtedly needs a group of high-tech talents who are brave enough to explore and are determined to reform and innovate. However, they still need thousands of new employees who possess both operating skills and certain technical theories. For students whose junior high school graduates fail to move to high school, accepting secondary vocational and technical education is a new measure to meet the needs of society. Because such students do not have the vocational skills required by the employer and can not meet the needs of employment and entrepreneurship, Enrolling them into secondary school to receive secondary vocational education so that they can learn at least one practical skill will not only help them to gain employment and start their own businesses, but also have great significance in promoting the development and stability of urban and rural areas and in building a harmonious society.
