早在四十年代末期,John D.Kraus等人对轴型螺线天线曾作了充分的研究,并总结出一套行之有效的设计方法。但对于产生圆极化的边射型螺线天线,则缺乏完整的理论阐述。直至一九七五年,美国的一篇专利文章才涉及这方面的课题。本文介绍和分析用螺线天线产生边射波束和圆极化的条件,所得的结果已用于圆极化电视天线的具体设计中。
As early as the late 1940s, John D. Kraus et al. Made a thorough study of the axial helical antenna and concluded a well-established design methodology. However, there is a lack of complete theoretical explanation for the circularly polarized edge-emitting spiral antenna. It was not until 1975 that a patent article in the United States dealt with this topic. This paper introduces and analyzes the conditions of generating side beams and circular polarizations with helical antennas. The results have been used in the design of circularly polarized TV antennas.
