尊重和保障人权是构建和谐社会的重要基石。以和谐促进人权,是人权发展的科学理念。中国人权事业的发展已取得了有目共睹的成就,充分实现人权已成为中国全面建设小康社会、构建社会主义和谐社会的一个重要目标。当前,党和政府正在科学发展观指导下,把尊重和保障人权的宪法原则贯彻到政治、经济、文化和社会建设各个领域中去,努力实现人权发展与社会进步的和谐,以及人权发展与自然环境的和谐。中国将与国际社会一道,共同为推动世界人权事业健康发展,为建设持久和平、共同繁荣的和谐世界作出重要贡献。
Respecting and safeguarding human rights is an important cornerstone of building a harmonious society. To promote human rights in harmony is a scientific concept of human rights development. The development of China’s human rights cause has witnessed remarkable achievements. The full realization of human rights has become an important goal of building an overall well-to-do society in China and building a harmonious socialist society. At present, under the guidance of the Scientific Outlook on Development, the party and government are implementing the constitutional principle of respecting and safeguarding human rights in all fields of politics, economy, culture and social construction and strive to achieve harmony between human rights development and social progress as well as the development of human rights and nature Environmental harmony. China, together with the international community, will make an important contribution to promoting the healthy development of the human rights cause in the world and building a harmonious world with lasting peace and common prosperity.
