太平湾水电站位于辽宁省宽甸县境内,上距水丰电站29公里,下离丹东市40公里,是中朝两国在鸭绿江上共同开发的第四座水电站。由水电部东北勘测设计院设计,我局施工。电站安装4台4.75万千瓦机组,总装机容量19万千瓦,年发电量7.7亿度,内设50周波和60周波两种机组,分别向中朝两国送电。电站主体工程1982年10月27日开工,
The Taipingwan Hydropower Station is located in Kuandian County of Liaoning Province, 29 kilometers away from Shuifeng Power Station and 40 kilometers away from Dandong City. It is the fourth hydropower station jointly developed by China and the DPRK on the Yalu River. Design by the Ministry of Water Power Northeast Survey and Design Institute, our bureau construction. There are 4 sets of 41,500 kilowatts units installed in the power station, with a total installed capacity of 190,000 kilowatts and an annual generating capacity of 770 million kilowatts.
