Primary squamous cell carcinoma of the thyroid is rare and has good histological differentiation, rapid growth, high degree of malignancy, and insensitivity to chemotherapy. Two cases are reported here. Case report l, male, 66 years old. The left neck was progressively enlarged for more than 40 days and had no history of thyroid disease.
