采用多指标综合筛选法,从1995～1997年国内出版的万种以上中文期刊中,确定1571种为核心期刊。对《中文核心期刊要目总览》第一版至第三版的研制方法作了综述,指出核心期刊为一相对概念,实践中不宜过分夸大其作用,因而《中文核心期刊要目总览》仅只是参考工具,切忌不加选择地搬用其中的数据。核心期刊的数量界定问题,研究的结论为,核心区与非核心区之间不存在明确的界线,即核心区范围的大小是相对任意的。
Using multi-index comprehensive screening method, from 1995 to 1997 published more than 10,000 kinds of Chinese periodicals, identified 1571 kinds of core journals. Summarizes the development methods of the first edition to the third edition of the “Overview of the Chinese Core Journals”, points out that the core journals are a relative concept and should not be excessively exaggerated in practice. Therefore, “The Summary of Important Journals in China” is only Reference tools, avoid indiscriminate use of the data. The number of core journals, the study concluded that there is no clear boundary between the core area and the non-core area, that is, the size of the core area is relatively arbitrary.
