全国政协常委、著名经济学家董辅礽作了题为《在矛盾中发展的中国经济》的演讲。针对当前经济界有“中国威胁论” 以及“中国崩溃论”两种截然对立的论点,董辅礽说,“中国威胁论”在侧面反映了中国经济的快速发展,其中一些产品已经“威胁”到很多国家的利益,但其中最主要的还是以美国为首的西方国家对我们采取的政策性的经济贸易遏制。我们应当认清这种论调的实质,它不利于我们的发展,因为实际上我们仍旧是发展中国家。此外,“中国崩溃论”也没有真实地反映中国当今社会实际情况。我们的确有财政赤字、贫富差距以及失业率增加这样的问题存在,但两种说法都夸大地反映了中国的现实问题。
CPPCC member and famous economist Dong Fulu made a speech titled “China’s Economy Developing in Contradictions.” In view of the diametrically opposed arguments of the current “China threat theory” and “the collapse of China,” Dong added that the “China threat theory” reflects the rapid development of China’s economy on the side and some of these products have already “threatened” many things National interests, but the most important thing is that the U.S.-led western countries have taken a policy of economic and trade containment by us. We should recognize the essence of this argument. It is detrimental to our development because, in fact, we are still a developing country. In addition, the “theory of the collapse of China” did not truly reflect the actual situation in China’s society today. We do have such problems as the fiscal deficit, the gap between the rich and the poor, and the increase in the unemployment rate. However, both statements exaggerately reflect the reality of China.
