A World Economy and Market Analysis The developed economies in 2014 are expected to have a slightly higher growth rate than in 2013, with emerging economies continuing to adjust. In developed economies, the United States has the best fundamentals and is driven by the improvement in fiscal austerity, but the recovery is still slow. The Fed is expected to start QE reduction in March 2014, raise interest rates in 2016, and the one-year U.S. bond interest rates will remain stable until mid-2015.
