The heroic Albanian people call their own motherland “the country of eagles.” This proud name fully demonstrates the dauntless spirit of the Albanian people who love freedom and fight for freedom. For many centuries, the Albanian people have fought heroically for the sake of their own independence, their opposition to foreign slavery and their tireless efforts to establish a happy life. On November 29, 1944, under the leadership of the Albanian Communist Party, the Albanian people finally deported the fascist aggression of Italy and Germany under the situation in which the Soviet army won a decisive victory over German fascism
