现代会展业经过几百年的发展,特别是20世纪80年代以来,近20年的高速增长,正日益成为全球信息交流、技术进步和商品流通的重要载体。成为与信息通信、交通运输、城市建设、旅游休闲、宾馆餐馆、广告印刷等关联度极高的综合性服务贸易行业。会展业以其创造的高额经济价值、广泛的就业机会和对社会综合经济指数增长的拉动作用,形成了独具特色的会展经济。
After several hundred years of development, especially since the 1980s, the rapid development of the modern convention and exhibition industry nearly 20 years is increasingly becoming an important carrier of global information exchange, technological progress and commodity circulation. It has become a comprehensive service trade with extremely high correlation with information and communications, transportation, urban construction, tourism and leisure, restaurants, advertising and printing. Exhibition industry with its creation of high economic value, a wide range of employment opportunities and the promotion of the growth of social comprehensive economic index, formed a unique exhibition economy.
