天津第二届第三次各界人民代表会议揭幕了。此次会议的主要议程有三项:一是救济失业工人,一是调整公私关系,一是研究改进税收工作。这三个问题都是当前经济建设中最中心最重要的问题。因为这些问题不仅关系着三万失业工人及其家属的生活,而且直接关系着天津工商业的正常的恢复与发展。天津此次各界人民代表会议的任务是十分重大的。我们谨祝大会的完满成功。

The third session of the People’s Representatives Meeting of all people from all walks of life in Tianjin was unveiled. The meeting has three main agenda: First, relief of unemployed workers, one is to adjust the public-private relations, one is to study and improve tax work. All three are the most important and central issues in the current economic construction. Because these problems are not only related to the lives of 30,000 unemployed workers and their families, but also directly affect the normal recovery and development of Tianjin’s business and industry. The task of the people’s congress of all walks of life in Tianjin is very significant. We wish the success of the General Assembly.
