爱国华侨陈嘉庚先生营建一生的福建集美学村中,有个被誉为“航海家的摇篮”的航海学校,这就是集美航海学院。这所创建于1420年的学校,至今已先后培养出七千多名我国的各类航海人才,他们的足迹遍布世界各大港,数百名已当上船长。1990年10月21日,分布各地的校友们回到“摇篮”,庆祝母校70大寿。他们感谢母校的养育之恩,同时他们中绝大多数人都忘不了上海。上海港从集美海院学生历史上的第一次远航始,就为这个“摇篮”里走出来的未来航海家提供了成长的“舞台”。二三十年代的上海,已是东方
