浙江省宁波市第七中学创办于1947年,是一所具有60多年历史的公办初级中学,现有教职员工153人,45个班级,学生2200余人。学校“崇德、求实、和谐、创新”的校风,“敬业、爱生、严谨、博学”的教风、“励志、勤勉、尚思、笃信”的学风,造就了一批批高素质优秀人才,赢得了良好的社会声誉。宁波七中有一支“师德高、素质好、业务精”的品牌教师队伍,具有中、高级教师比例占80%以上。学校致力于打造一流的品牌教师队伍,涌现了一大批全国、省、市各级优秀教师,仅两年来就有25人次获省级以上荣誉,47人次获得市级以上奖励。
