李贽(公元1527——1602年)号卓吾,字宏甫,是明后期的进步思想家。他原名李载贽,因避明穆宗讳,改名李贽,别号温陵居士,又称百泉居士、龙湖居士。他祖上姓林,原籍河南,因得罪御史徐某,逃居福建,改姓李,落籍泉州晋江县。泉州是当时对外交通港口,居住着许多阿拉伯、波斯商人,李氏祖上曾从事海外贸易,任过通译,出使过日本、波斯。他的曾祖父因娶波斯女为妻,故有学者认为李氏家族信仰回教,或说就是回族。他的父亲以教书为业,要他幼习四书、五经,稍长,以泰州

Quanzhou was the port of foreign traffic at that time, and lived many Arab and Persian merchants. Li Zushe had engaged in overseas trade, served as translator, and had diplomatic missions to Japan and Persia. His great-grandfather married Persian as a wife, so some scholars believe that the Lee family believes in Islam, or that it is Hui. His father, who taught for the job, asked him to study four books, five books, and a little longer, with Taizhou
