一、将96%改为100%林冠郁闭度为林分调查的主要调查因子之一。在林业专业调查中一直没有较为简单适合测定林冠郁闭度的仪器。用现场实测绘图的办法虽然精度较高,但需要人员多时间长,而且耗费物力财力较大,除了科学研究外,一般较少采用。通常采用目测调查的方法,因目测法受调查人员主观因素影响较大,精度不够稳定。为了解决这个问题,现根据关国《林业杂志》1957年第55卷第9期667-669页“一个新的林冠郁闭度测定器的试制”一文介绍用曲率半径为15.24厘米(约6英寸)的球冠反光镜制成的测树器测定林冠郁闭度。
