在毛主席革命路线指引下,我区水利战线上的广大工农群众,革命干部和技术人员,以阶级斗争为纲,坚持党的基本路线,积极开展群众性的技术革新运动。为适应工农业生产发展的需要,1975年冬以来,已先后在高州、电白等七个县(市)的水利预制构件厂(场)制作成功了一批悬辊制管机,多快好省地生产了内径200～800毫米的素混凝土和钢筋混凝土压力水管,并创制了内径200～300毫米的砂、土——水泥的“三合土”低压水管,它比一般混凝土管节省水泥60%,降低造价70%。这一无产阶级文化大革命的胜利成果,是对那些所谓“今不如昔”、“科技落后”等右倾翻案风的有力批判。
