中国的工艺美术,其品类之盛、风格之异、技艺之精、造型之美,犹如万花竞艳,众彩纷呈,是世界文化艺术宝库中一颗光彩夺目的明珠。 然而这样的艺术瑰宝,却很少见诸著述。中国社会科学出版社出版的《当代中国的工艺美术》为《当代中国》丛书之一。这是有史以来第一部系统介绍和全面论述我国工艺美术的行业、品类、人物、分布、历史渊源和风格特点的专著。全书分三编九章,共四十七万字。第一编简要介绍了我国工艺美术的悠久历史以及近三十多年来的巨大发展和取得的辉煌成就。第二编翔实地介绍了我国的织绣、雕塑、美术陶瓷、编织、

However, this art treasures, but rarely seen in the book. China Social Sciences Publishing House published “Contemporary Chinese Arts and Crafts” as one of “Contemporary China” series.
