随着校园网新业务(视频流、IP电话和多播等)的增加,IPv6协议接入带来的网络复杂性的增大以及用户对网络性能需求的不断增加,使得网络流量监测和管理面临严峻挑战。针对当前校园网管理系统不能较好支持下一代互联网协议(IPv6)的现状,基于SNMP协议设计并实现了IPv6网络流量监测系统。该系统包括3个模块:数据采集模块、数据处理模块、数据显示模块。最后通过与第三方软件CACTI相比较,试验证明流量测量系统运行正常,效果良好,为下一步开展的IPv6网络计费管理提供了有力的依据。
With the increase of new services (video streaming, IP telephony and multicasting) in campus network, the increase of network complexity due to IPv6 protocol access and the increasing demand of network performance by users make network traffic monitoring and management face serious challenge. Aiming at the current situation that the campus network management system can not support the next generation internet protocol (IPv6) well, the IPv6 network traffic monitoring system is designed and implemented based on the SNMP protocol. The system includes three modules: data acquisition module, data processing module, data display module. Finally, compared with the third-party software CACTI, the test proves that the flow measurement system is operating normally and works well, which provides a strong basis for the next-generation IPv6 network charging management.
