提出了一种最大可能震级M_(max)及一些相关参数估计的新型统计方法,推导了M_(max)无偏估计公式及该参数的任意函数。这种估计已有明确的公式,且方差很小。亦推导了这种预示性估计的极限分布,并将所得公式通过几个例子进行了说明。
A new statistical method for estimating maximum possible magnitude M_ (max) and some related parameters is proposed. The M_ (max) unbiased estimation formula and any function of this parameter are derived. This estimate has a clear formula, and the variance is small. The limit distribution of this predictive estimation is also deduced and the resulting formula is illustrated by a few examples.
