1962—1963年间曾对春播条件下高粱的茎、叶与籽粒的生长特性作了观察。第一年着重观察茎叶部分;第二年着重观察籽粒部分。供观察品种为黄罗伞,属下散穗型。为北方地区分布较广的早熟型农家品种。观察在我院教学试验农场试验区进行。土壤肥力中等。1962年播种期4月21日,完熟期8月3日。1963年播种期4月15日,完熟期8月1日。两年间各主要生育时期经历天数甚为接近。两年生育期分别为105天与109天。条播,行株距2×1尺,合每亩3000株。土壤耕作及管理按一般进行,拔节前追施硫酸铵一次。采用定株观察与定期取样测定相结合的观察方法。籽粒形成过程,系于全田大部分植株开花始期选取同一天始花植株做上记号,以后每隔一周取2—3穗,并取共中部籽粒作为测定体积及鲜干重的材料。
During 1962-1963, the growth characteristics of stem, leaf and grain of sorghum were observed under spring sowing conditions. The first year focused on the observation of stem and leaf parts; the second year focused on the observation of the grain part.
