本研究探讨了在ESP语境中使用手机应用程序对英语教学和学习的影响。主要目的是测试使用手机应用程序对ESP学习者的表现是否有影响,调查这种教学技术对词汇学习的影响、如何影响学习者正确使用语法的能力,以及他们的写作技能的提高。结果表明,使用手机应用程序讲授外语技能或次级技能很有成效,并且会影响学习者对词汇和语法规则的理解。结果尤其表明,手机可以以许多不同的方式用于在课堂之外,轻松地传授和学习技术和半技术词汇,但由于一些局限性,建议使用某些策略讲授语法规则和写作。
This study examines the impact of using mobile apps on ESP teaching and learning in the context of ESP. The main purpose is to test whether the use of mobile applications has an impact on the performance of ESP learners, investigate how this teaching effect on vocabulary learning affects learners’ ability to use grammar correctly, and their writing skills. The results show that using mobile applications to teach foreign language skills or sub-skills is effective and can affect learners’ understanding of vocabulary and grammar rules. The results show, in particular, that mobile phones can easily be used to teach and learn technical and semi-technical terms outside of the classroom in many different ways, but due to some limitations, it is advisable to use certain strategies to teach grammar rules and writing.
