厦门地属沿海边缘地区,市内两家最大的医院仅为三级乙等医院。可以作为依托的医学院校一厦门大学医学院尚处在初创阶段。同省会福州市距离又较远,因而缺乏在医疗技术上磋商和交流的便利条件。近年来,厦门的经济发展迅猛,海外来厦投资者对医疗保健提出了较高的要求,市民对医疗服务质量的要求也随之提高。这样,相对滞后的医疗技术已不再能满足市民日益增长的医疗保健需求。所以,为改善厦门地区医疗技术的不足,利用大城市医疗卫生资源,分享知名医学专家的诊疗技术,我院子1997年3月10日建立并开通了与上海医科大学附属中山医院的远程医疗会诊系统,并初步开展了疑难病症的专家会诊,收到较好的效果。
Xiamen is a coastal area, and the two largest hospitals in the city are only grade III B hospitals. The medical college that can be used as a medical college is still at the initial stage of Xiamen University Medical College. It is far away from Fuzhou, the provincial capital, and therefore lacks the convenience of consultation and exchange in medical technology. In recent years, Xiamen’s economic development has been rapid. Overseas investors from Xiamen have put forward higher requirements for medical care and the public’s demand for medical service quality has also increased. In this way, relatively lagged medical technology can no longer meet the growing health care needs of the public. Therefore, in order to improve the inadequacies of medical technology in Xiamen and utilize the medical and health resources of big cities and share the medical technology of well-known medical experts, on March 10, 1997, we established and opened a telemedicine consultation system with Zhongshan Hospital, Shanghai Medical University. , and initially carried out expert consultations on intractable diseases and received good results.
