新编教材尊重毛泽东同志的历史地位、文学成就以及诗、文本身固有的价值,依据历史唯物主义和唯物辩证法,从解放后各个时期的课本中挑选了12篇毛泽东同志的诗、文充实教材,其中词3首、新闻1则、报告等类的8篇。尽管比例只占初、高中基本篇目的6％左右(是建国以来毛泽东同志诗、文选的最少课本),但在以现代——当代人作品为教材的,毛泽东同志的篇数确是最多。但这并不意味着执教者也能充分认识到毛泽东
The new textbooks respect Comrade Mao Zedong’s historical status, literary achievements, and the inherent values of poetry and text. Based on historical materialism and materialist dialectics, 12 pieces of Comrade Mao Zedong’s poems and texts were selected from textbooks in various periods after liberation. There are 8 articles including 3 words, 1 news, and reports. Although the ratio only accounts for about 6% of the basic articles of the elementary and middle schools (it is the minimum textbook for Comrade Mao Zedong’s poetry and literary selection since the founding of the People’s Republic of China), the number of Comrade Mao Zedong who used the modern-day work as the teaching material is indeed the most. But this does not mean that the coach can fully understand Mao Zedong.
