在福建前线某医院里,工休人员常常以激动的心情谈论着一位热爱工作、热爱病人、助人为乐、艰苦朴素、全心全意为伤病员服务的年青护士汤林珍同志。她入伍四年来,曾经先后荣获三等功臣、五好学员、五好护士、医院学习毛主席著作标兵等光荣称号,1964年3月光荣地加入了中国共产党。汤林珍同志所以能在革命部队里很快成长,在平凡的岗位上创造出不平凡的事跡,用她自己的话回答:“是母亲——党的乳汁哺育了我,是毛主席著作给了我力量。”
In a hospital in the front of Fujian Province, workers and staff often talk with excitement about a young nurse who works for love, patient care, helpfulness, hardship and simplicity, and serves the sick and wounded. In the four years since she enlisted in the army, she has won the glorious title of third class hero, five good students, five good nurses and hospital studying Chairman Mao’s works and marching models. In March 1964, she joined the Communist Party of China with honor. Comrade Tang Lin-jean was able to grow rapidly in the revolutionary forces and create extraordinary things in his ordinary post. In her own words, he replied: “It is the mother-the milk of the party nurtured me. It was Chairman Mao’s work that gave me strength ”
