2008年1月15日,中国卫生部召开专题新闻发布会,公布《中国居民膳食指南(2007)》(以下简称《指南》)。据介绍,《指南》以最新的科学知识为基础,论述了当前中国居民的营养需要及膳食中存在的主要问题,并结合全国居民营养与健康状况调查的数据及资料,提出了实践平衡膳食,获取合理营养的行动方案,对广大居民具有普遍指导意义。《指南》由一般人群膳食指南、特定人群膳食指南和平衡膳食宝塔三部分组成。一般人群膳食指南共有10条,适合于6岁以上的正常人群,每个题目下各有提要和说明。特定人群膳食指南是根据各人群的生理特点及其对膳食营养需要而制定的。特定人群包括孕妇、乳母、婴幼儿、学龄前儿童、儿童青少年和老年人群。
