铁是人体内含量最丰富的过渡金属元素,是人体必需微量元素之一.它在人体中分布很广,几乎所有的组织都含有铁.它参与体内氧的转运、交换和组织呼吸过程,维持机体正常造血功能,与人体健康有密切关系.本文从铁的吸收与排泄、铁的生理功能、铁在人体内的分布及需要量等方面阐述了铁与人体健康的关系.
