The research department and the verification department of the National Institute of Preventive Health (pre-research) have been clearly separated and the reorganization policy has been set. It was decided to complete the four-year plan gradually starting from 1985. The pre-research institute was founded in 1947 and has done a lot of research work in the prevention of various infectious diseases, such as vaccines and antibiotics.
