In order to evaluate the influence of flat vertical line on the safety of high-grade highway in mountainous area, according to the principle of energy conservation, the vertical temperature gradient, longitudinal slope length and flat curve radius of the automobile braking system during the driving process are analyzed. Impact. Taking the downhill section of a mountain highway as an example, the relationship between highway alignment and accident rate was studied. The results show that the critical gradient of the vehicle running at a steady speed increases with the increase of the transmission ratio and the speed of the vehicle. The safety of the highway decreases with the increase of the product of the average longitudinal gradient and the slope length. The smaller radius of the flat curve Which helps to improve the efficiency of automobile engine auxiliary braking and is conducive to the improvement of highway safety. The larger radius deviation of flat curve will increase the service frequency of automobile service brakes and reduce the safety of the highway.
