赛珍珠(1892-1973)Pearl.S.Buck,美国著名女作家,1938年凭借《大地》三部曲获得诺贝尔文学奖,成为美国第一位女性诺贝尔文学奖获得者。赛珍珠在三个月大的时候就被传教士父母带到中国,从此与中国结下了深厚的情缘。她从小接受中国文化,她的作品是其在中国生活最真实的反映与表达。作品因讲述农民王龙如何以土地发家致富的故事使得世界各地的读者对中国农民及其生活有了更加深刻的了解。本文将从后殖民女性主义的角度对其《大地》进行分析。
Pearl S. Buck (1892-1973) Pearl S. Buck, a famous American female writer, won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1938 with the Trilogy of the Earth and became the first female Nobel Prize winner in literature in the United States. Pearl Buck was taken to China by missionaries and parents at the age of three months, and has since formed a profound love with China. Since she was young, she accepted Chinese culture. Her works are the most true reflection and expression of her life in China. The story of how the peasants, Wang Long, made his fortune by land making, enabled readers all over the world to gain a deeper understanding of Chinese peasants and their lives. This article will analyze its “earth” from the perspective of post-colonial feminism.
