比利时Katholieke大学的研究者报导,成人无脂肪体重(也称去脂体重LBM,lean body mass)与出生时的低体重有关。他们对女性双胞胎的研究显示,出生时低体重可以解释某些成人期身体构成的差异。同时他们还指出,子宫内的环境也与成人期身高有很大的关系。
Researchers at Katholieke University in Belgium have reported that adult fat-free weight (also known as lean body mass) is associated with low birth weight. Their study of female twins shows that low birth weight can explain some of the differences in adult body composition. At the same time they also pointed out that the environment within the womb and adult height also have a great relationship.
