党的十六大以来,在以胡锦涛同志为总书记的党中央正确领导下,坚定不移地走中国特色社会主义道路,坚持科学发展、执政为民,战胜各种艰难险阻,取得了改革开放和社会主义现代化建设的一系列伟大胜利。在全球金融危机和国内外形势复杂多变的背景下,回顾这段不平凡的发展历程,有利于总结经验、增强信心、坚定信念,夺取全面建设小康社会新胜利。笔者已在《科学发展,执政为民———回眸十六大以来我国社会主义现代化建设的历史进程(之一)》一文中,从理论创新、改革开放和共克时艰等方面简要回顾了十六大以来我国社会主义现代化建设的历史进程。本文将着重从我国取得的举世瞩目的伟大成就等方面继续回顾这段光辉历程。

I have reviewed briefly the historical process of “Scientific Development and Rejuvenating the People --- Reviewing the Socialist Modernization in China since the 16th National Congress of the CPC (Part 1)” from the aspects of theoretical innovation, reform and opening up, The Historical Process of China’s Socialist Modernization since the 16th National Congress of the CPC. This article will focus on continuing to review this glorious journey in terms of the remarkable achievements of the world, including our country.
