伏牛山铜矿早在1958年进行过勘探,结果认为“矿体太小,远景不大”予以放弃.后由冶金810队对该区再次进行远景评价.我队为配合找矿,曾投入1∶2000的磁法、自电和化探工作,但地质效果不佳最后于1970年重点投入激发极化法,测量结果,不仅在已知矿体上,而且在成矿有望地段发现了明显的η_s异常,经过钻探验证,在新发现的异常位置见到矿体,在深部也找到了新的盲矿.该区已勘探完毕,证明是一个中小型铜矿.现将激电应用效果介绍如下.
