土木工程,英文中称“Civil Engineering”,严格意义上讲很难用一个准确的语句对它加以概括,因为它涵盖的内容十分广泛。但是我们可以想象得出:对于从事土木工程专业的人员,手中的笔就是设计生活、规划现实的工具,那一幢幢林立于现代都市的高楼大厦,那一座座让人惊叹的宏伟桥梁和建筑,似乎顷刻间便在你的笔下“生花”,跃然纸上的则是一幅幅美丽的巧夺天工的图案。关于土木工程,有人做了一个很形象、生动的比喻,如果说建筑的产生是人类脱离穴居生活的标志,那么,土木工程则是建筑物营造过程中的一门高超的艺术。
Civil engineering, called “Civil Engineering” in English, is very difficult to summarize in an exact sentence because it covers a wide range of topics. However, we can imagine that for those who are engaged in civil engineering, the pen in their hands is a tool for designing life and planning reality. That building is a high-rise building surrounded by modern cities, and it is an impressive bridge and building. It seems that in the moment you will be “flowering” in your pen. On the vivid paper is a picture of a beautiful, wonderful workmanship. Regarding civil engineering, someone made a very vivid and vivid metaphor. If the construction of buildings is a sign of human beings living out of burrowing, then civil engineering is a superb art in the process of building construction.
