I served as chief editor of Zhejiang Daily in April 1951. At that time, the site of Zhejiang Daily was at the northwest side of the intersection of Public An Anqiao. This is a gray, curved, three-story reinforced concrete building. The bottom is the manager and printing, the second floor is the editorial department and typesetting room; the third floor, formerly a movie theater, after the liberation into a venue, the province’s large-scale meetings, mostly held here; there is a small four Floor, is a medium-sized conference room. This building in the city of Hangzhou at the time, saying it can be said that the building deserved. Out of the upstairs neighborhoods, except for the “Seven Heavenly Creed” in the distance Jiefang Street, the rest of the houses are below its line of sight.
