尽管1999年末,媒体对冯小刚的《没完没了》提前发动了一场猛烈的攻势,准备将其扼杀在“摇篮”之中,葛优依然在世纪末的银幕上占尽风光,但这“占尽”十分可怜。在没有对手愿意出场的贺岁独舞中,他那张已无新意的老脸竟然一夜之间输给了永远也不会比他更有新意的傅彪。这一凄惨的结局决不是葛优个人的。20世纪是中国结束封建社会进入现代社会的100年,其中既有壮烈的史诗、人物,也不乏表现史诗的现代手段(影视剧)。但在走过了一个世纪后,由这样一个“小人物儿”收场,让人不免生出许多悲凉。到底是我们缺少英雄,还是缺少表现、塑造英雄的能力?在那个刚刚过去的时代里,谁能长留我们心间,让我们引以为荣?难道最终真是多少英雄事,都付笑谈中?看到葛优那张皮笑肉不笑的面容,莫非真是世无英雄遂使竖子成名? 为此,我们回望来路,看看是否真地是——
