流行性腮腺炎是一种由腮腺炎病毒引起的急性传染病,中医称“痄腮”,俗称“猪头疯”。是春季常见的流行性病毒传染病,二至五岁的儿童最容易感染。患儿大多数有突然发热、畏寒、头痛、咽喉痛等症状。一、二天后可感到耳下部肿痛,肿胀范围在耳垂下方,边缘不清,触之有弹性感,并有轻度触痛,局部皮肤紧张发亮,多数不红,表面发热,一般不会化脓。大多数是一侧腮腺先肿,一至四日后另一侧也出现肿胀。
