举办易俗社百年庆典,其意义不可小视。它不是一般的文艺团体庆典,也不是一项普通的文化活动,我认为这是今年陕西省和西安市最重要的一项文化庆典。百年来,坚持演出,持续经营,薪火承传,硕果累累,人才辈出的戏剧演出团体,只有陕西易俗社。作为一个重要的演出团体,不论在中国戏剧界和文化界,还是在世界戏剧界和文化界,能够坚持百年持续不断、传承发展的戏剧团体,真可谓凤毛麟角。田汉先生曾把莫斯科大剧院、法国芭蕾舞团(一说英国皇家剧院)与易俗社并称为“世界艺坛三大古老剧社”。因此,易俗社是我们陕西的骄傲,是陕西的名片,也是中国戏剧的名片,是国汉头候只以曾也身谓秦
