跨径1410m的英国Humber桥,为迄今世界最大跨径的桥梁。本文扼要地叙述了此项工程的设计、施工和构造。通过钢吊桥发展历史的简要回顾,侧重介绍了大跨钢吊桥设计计算中诸如截面形式、风载计算、风洞实验的应用、非线性分析、荷载分配等问题的原理及图式;阐明以设计大型钢吊桥著名的Freeman Fox公司重视方案设计追求经济效益的经验。并强调对于跨径在千米以上的大型桥梁,钢吊桥仍然是无可比拟的。
The Humber Bridge in the UK, spanning 1410m, is by far the largest span bridge in the world. This article briefly describes the design, construction and construction of this project. Through a brief review of the history of the development of steel drawbridges, the principles and schematics of such issues as cross-sectional form, wind load calculation, wind tunnel test, nonlinear analysis and load distribution in the design and calculation of long-span steel suspension bridges are introduced. The famous Freeman Fox Company, a large steel suspension bridge, places great emphasis on the economic benefits of its program design. And stressed that for the span of more than a kilometer long bridge, steel suspension bridge is still unmatched.
