我是三十年代初通过许幸之认识张光宇的。他和他的弟弟张正宇当时都是有名的画家,还办杂志。更早有张聿光、丁悚也是搞画的。但搞装饰艺术,张光宇则算最早。张聿光、丁悚他们主要画月份牌及美人像。张光宇的画讲创新。比如他画的猫就很独特。他知道我喜欢描,生病时还答应送我一幅。
I was in the early 1930s through Xu Xing’s understanding of Zhang Guangyu. He and his brother Zhang Zhengyu were both well-known painters and magazines.
