狂犬病是一种由狂犬病毒引起病死率极高的急性传染病,我院辖区位于苏州市相城区,外来人口居多,本地大多房屋已拆迁搬至小区,街上到处是丢弃的家犬或流浪犬。近年来虽然地方政府和预防保健人员加大了宣传接种狂犬疫苗的力度,但2011年辖区还是发生了1例狂犬病死亡病例,因是被自家养的小犬抓伤,没有接种狂犬疫苗2个月后发病死亡。
