OBJECTIVE: To investigate and analyze the perioperative infection factors of oral implantology and to propose management strategies to improve the success rate of surgery and reduce the occurrence of nosocomial infections. Methods: The subjects were selected from 67 patients undergoing oral implant surgery and infection at Hengdian Group Hospital, Dongyang from January 2012 to January 2014 as the observation group and 67 healthy subjects during the same period as In the control group, the type of infection and the type of bacteria in the observation group were measured and compared with the control group, so as to explore the hidden dangers of perioperative nosocomial infection in oral implant patients and put forward the targeted treatment measures. Results: The 67 patients in the observation group included 59.7% of surgical wound infections and 40.3% of upper respiratory tract infections. The detection rate of anaerobic bacteria in the observation group was 56.7%, significantly higher than that of the control group (23.9%, P < 0.05). Conclusions: Patients who underwent oral implant are more likely to be infected with anaerobic bacteria. It is suggested that improving the surgical environment, improving the quality of staff, and actively carrying out prevention and control management of nosocomial infections is a powerful guarantee for improving the success rate of surgery.
