本文用中国制造业1998~2006年的面板数据,运用数据包络分析方法(DEA),估算了各个行业的Malmquist全要素生产率,并分解为技术进步和技术效率。研究结果表明,1998~2006年中国制造业全要素生产率的年平均增长率为2.8%,主要原因是技术进步水平的提高,低下的技术效率起了副作用,却是不可忽视的。转变经济增长方式,提高TFP增长率,应该首先提高技术效率。
In this paper, panel data of Chinese manufacturing industry from 1998 to 2006 are used to estimate the Malmquist TFP of each industry by using data envelopment analysis (DEA), which is divided into technical progress and technical efficiency. The results show that the average annual growth rate of total factor productivity of China’s manufacturing industry was 2.8% from 1998 to 2006, mainly due to the fact that the improvement of technological progress and the low efficiency of technology played a side-effect, which can not be neglected. To change the mode of economic growth and increase the TFP growth rate, we should first improve the technical efficiency.
