1993年,为纪念国画大师齐白石,湘潭市政府经多年筹备建设,终于在湘潭市白马湖畔建成湘潭齐白石纪念馆,纪念馆占地面积300亩,建筑面积5000平方米。那时笔者就读于原湖南省湘潭师范学院,因为爱好书画,经常向齐白石老人的三孙齐金平先生请诣,至今尤记得齐白石纪念馆开馆之时的情景,那天展出了数十件齐白石国画原作和早期木雕精品,以及数百件白石弟子和国内一流书画大家的题赠作品,可谓琳琅满目、盛况空前,多年来一直在笔者脑海中
In 1993, to commemorate the master of Chinese painting Qi Baishi, Xiangtan city government after years of preparation and construction, and finally built in Xiangtan City, Baima Xiangtan Qi Baishi Memorial Hall, Memorial covers an area of 300 mu, building area of 5000 square meters.
