明清粤东、闽南地区出现的《荔镜记》《荔枝记》系列,目前遗存至少六种刊本、一种残抄本以及三种选本的多首曲子,并且多已影印或校注出版。关于此戏文系列的研究,主要围绕对文献地域和声腔归属的讨论、对剧作演变及版本的考察、文本内容及艺术特色的解读、对戏曲方言和语法的研究,以及从剧种、民俗等的探究几个方面展开。
