The Bay Area is California’s most important economic zone, with the San Francisco Bay as its center and the Bay Area forming an economic development zone. Since the Second World War, the United States has enjoyed the most economic and fastest-growing economy in the region. West Bay has the world’s attention San Francisco, East Bay has a well-known port city of Oakland, South Bay is the world’s high-tech center San Jose City (Silicon Valley). The Bay Area plays an important role in the economic development of the United States and even the world
