The Paris Agreement established a mechanism and structure for effectively fighting climate change for mankind, but it is a double-edged sword for China. After painstaking negotiations between all parties, the Paris Climate Change Conference passed the ”Paris Agreement“ on December 12 local time to limit greenhouse gas emissions. This is the first global history of human emission reduction agreement covering nearly 200 countries, a milestone. Lykketoft, chairman of the UN General Assembly, said the agreement is no less powerful than a human revival. US President Barack Obama believes the agreement ”represents the best chance for mankind to save the planet."
