本文考证《回回药方》中“奄物烧剌”一语的意义。“奄物烧剌”并非波斯语词.通过《回回药方》书中内部证据的考察,可知“奄物”意为浊物,“烧刺”为“烧刺”之误,意为“发烧刺痛”。“奄物烧剌”当是“浊物引起发烧刺痛”之意。
