近年来,人们对于有色金属轧制产品质量的重视,尤其对于开发带材形状和带宽方向厚度分布的自动控制系统的重视越来越高。日本石川岛播磨公司已研制了一种效果为通常弯辊装置3~5倍的双轴承箱工作辊弯辊装置,(DC-WRB),并对其优益性能做了报导。确立一种能够用传感器和执行元件对带材形状和凸度进行独立自动闭环控制的装置,不仅能改善质量稳定性,而且也能提高生产率,因为在轧制期间靠操纵手观察和控制带材形状和凸度是很困难的。所幸,石川岛播磨公司已经把自动平整度控制(AFC)新演算系统应用到铝冷轧机、铝箔轧机和铝带材热轧机上。本文报导了AFC系统的部分技术。该AFC系统的特点是把DC-WRB和可变凸度轧辊(VC-ROll)以及辨别形状方式和轧机横刚性控制用的傅里叶分析演算结合了起来。
